Terms of Service
1. The service
LexiBrain is a web app for learning vocabulary. Every feature is free for everyone: you can take the vocabulary test without an account, and to keep learning you create a free account, which also keeps your progress safe and syncs it between devices. There are no paid features and no ads.
2. Your account
Give a real email address you control, keep your password secret and tell us if you think your account was misused. One person per account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
3. Acceptable use
Don't attack or overload the service, try to access other people's accounts, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Content and licences
The app is built on open data, used under their licences: ECDICT (MIT), WordNet (Princeton WordNet licence), Open Multilingual Wordnet and the Chinese Open Wordnet, GloVe (PDDL), wordfreq (MIT / CC BY-SA 4.0 data), Tatoeba sentences (CC BY 2.0 FR), CEFR-J Wordlist (free with attribution), Octanove Vocabulary Profile C1/C2 (CC BY-SA 4.0), three.js (MIT); the full list, including the dictionaries used by the other brains, is on the data sources page. Many meanings, translations of examples and collocation explanations were drafted with the help of AI and checked automatically (against open dictionaries where they exist); they have not yet been reviewed by native speakers and may contain mistakes — please report them. Your own progress data belongs to you.
5. No guarantees
We work hard to keep LexiBrain accurate and available, but it is provided "as is", without warranties. Vocabulary estimates and CEFR levels are approximations, not official test results.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a free service is limited to zero; nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
7. Changes and ending
We may change these terms; material changes will be announced in the app in advance. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. LexiBrain is operated by Henry (an individual). Contact: hello@lexibrain.net. Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. If you use LexiBrain as a consumer, this does not take away the protection that the laws of your own country or region give you.

词脑是背单词的网页应用，所有功能对所有人免费：不注册也能做词汇量测验；要接着学，注册一个免费账号，学习记录也会保存在账号里、在设备之间同步。没有付费功能，也没有广告。
2. 账号
请使用你能收信的真实邮箱，保管好密码；发现账号被盗用请告诉我们。一人一个账号。随时可以在应用里删除账号。
3. 使用规范
不得攻击或刻意压垮服务、试图登录他人账号、大规模抓取，或用于违法用途；否则我们可能停用相关账号。
4. 内容和许可
应用使用的开放数据按各自许可使用：ECDICT（MIT）、WordNet、开放多语 WordNet 与中文开放 WordNet、GloVe（PDDL）、wordfreq、Tatoeba 例句（CC BY 2.0 FR）、CEFR-J 词表、Octanove C1/C2（CC BY-SA 4.0）、three.js（MIT）；其他脑用到的词典等完整列表见数据来源页。不少释义、例句译文和固定搭配说明在 AI 辅助下起草，经过自动检查（有开放词典的地方和词典对照过），还没有经过母语者审校，可能有错，欢迎指出。你自己的学习记录归你所有。
5. 不作保证
我们尽力保证内容准确、服务可用，但服务按"现状"提供。词汇量估计和 CEFR 等级是近似值，不是正式考试成绩。
6. 责任限制
在法律允许的范围内，我们不对间接损失负责；免费服务的赔偿责任以零为限；法律规定不能限制的责任和消费者权利不受影响。
7. 变更和终止
条款可能调整，重要变更会提前在应用里公告。你可以随时停止使用并删除账号。词脑由 Henry（个人）运营，联系邮箱：hello@lexibrain.net。适用法律：本条款适用美国加利福尼亚州法律。如果你以消费者身份使用词脑，你所在国家或地区的法律给你的保护不受影响。
